Cipla will be hosting their annual Miles For Smiles Fun Run on the 16th of June. I’ve had 2 family members born with a clef lip or palate so I know the challenge these kids face growing up. The event creates awareness and raises funds for Operation Smile who facilitate corrective surgery on children born with cleft lip and palates. A life changing surgery for children, giving them every reason to smile. With last year’s event, Cipla managed to raise enough money to help 6 children receive surgeries.
The event takes place on Sunday 16 June 2019 on Melkbosstrand beach at 10am and make a real difference in the lives of children born with cleft lips and palates. There are also amazing lucky draw prizes up for grabs and all participants will receive a medal. Most importantly BRING THE KIDS along.
